Quick answers

Add someone you’d like to keep close, then jot the small things you notice — what they want, like, or already have. Tap + anywhere to capture a thought in a couple of seconds, pick a category and the person, and save. Add their birthday or an occasion and Sila will count down to it for you.
Reminders are part of Sila Plus and are delivered as local notifications by your device. Check that: (1) notifications are allowed for Sila in iOS Settings ▸ Notifications ▸ Sila; (2) the master reminders toggle is on in Sila ▸ Settings ▸ Reminders; (3) the specific date isn’t muted; and (4) Focus / Do Not Disturb isn’t silencing them. There’s a “Send a test notification” button in Reminders settings to confirm everything’s wired up.
If you’ve already subscribed (or moved to a new device), open Settings ▸ Sila Plus ▸ Restore Purchases while signed in to the same Apple Account you bought it with. Your Plus features will re-unlock. If it doesn’t take effect, make sure you’re online and using the correct Apple Account, then email us.
Subscriptions are managed by Apple. Go to iOS Settings ▸ [your name] ▸ Subscriptions ▸ Sila to change plan or turn off auto-renew. Cancelling stops future renewals; you keep Plus until the end of the period you’ve paid for. Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription. Refunds are handled by Apple via reportaproblem.apple.com.
With Sila Plus you can export everything to a single file from Settings ▸ Data ▸ Export backup (save it to Files or iCloud Drive). To bring it back, use Import backup — it asks before replacing what’s there. This is handy when moving devices or keeping a personal archive.
Sign in with Apple, Google, or email on each device. Your first sign-in uploads everything you’ve logged so far — even things from long before you signed in — and from then on changes sync both ways whenever the app is open. Signed out, nothing leaves the device. If a different account signs in on a device, that device switches to show that account’s data.
Erase all data (Settings ▸ Data) wipes everything stored on the device. Delete my account (Settings ▸ Account) clears local data, signs you out, and removes your synced data from our servers. Both ask for confirmation first. See the Privacy Policy for details.
Yes. Sila is local-first with no tracking or advertising, and nothing is sold or mined. Your notes only reach our servers if you sign in to sync, and then only for your own account. Full details are in the Privacy Policy.
